Rollbak revolver tonneau top

My long national nightmare is over. I have successfully installed the x4, using the instructions. The dealer trying to install it used his expertise gained by installing on Ford F150s, drastically different from the 3rd gen taco.

 

Update on my experience with my X4 install.
First issue was the wrong hardware/wrong directions,, you can pick one of them they were both incorrect for my truck.
That was remedied in four days. Good customer service too by the way.
Yesterday we go to actually put the top on and roll it out and it’s a foot short. I have a six-foot bed, the box that the top came in says it’s a 6 foot roll-top... I have a 5 foot X4 physically in the box.
A customer shouldn’t have to test fit all the product ahead of time to make sure he received the right fit product.... one would expect it to be done right the first time,,that would be nice.
‘Made America’ it says on the box with a flag.
I’ve emailed the customer service manager yesterday, I only cussed once in the email, I thought that was pretty good.
I will update probably on Monday as I don’t expect him to work from home on a weekend,,,wish me luck boys and girls. .

I meant to add that once I did get the right parts package everything went together lickety-split & the Correct directions by the way.
I put it together myself, it went easy until we went to put the top on and we are missing a big portion of the top. ha ha
I agree though, it does look damn good.

 

Ouch... sorry to see you guys are having so many issues... Unfortunately BAK does seem to have a higher than average issue with sending the wrong parts, etc... Not really sure why...

We sell 10-20 of these a day so let me know if you need an y help...

I should have the correct Tonneau in 2 days.
I'm trusting the 'Made in USA' is a solid vs the Pkging issues I have dealt with.

@truckalter , I've got mine on, butnit leaks rain around the entire perimeter. Is it supposed to leak like that??

Damn,,,I would say no, a little water is understandable.
Driving or parked it should not leak that bad. If installed correctly I read that some water still entered through the bulkhead & tailgate but not the side rails.

none at all after I recd the correct parts pkg & correct size top. Took a few tries but they did get it right.
