LOS ANGELES HOOD SWAP: 3rd Gen.Tacoma Metallic Gray with scoop

I live in Los Angeles. I searched around online and found out that hood swaps are a thing.

Last year I got the 2017 Tacoma Sport in metallic gray, with a hood scoop. Long story short I want a regular basic hood.

Do you want an 8 month old, like-new hood with a hood scoop? No scratches or dents. I am willing to do a trade if you have a basic hood that matches the specs:

MUST be 3rd generation
MUST be same color
MUST be scratch and dent free

Two reasons I don’t like (or have) a scooped hood: 1. it sticks up impeding forward vision on an already short windshield (I’m 6’2” and as you know the seats don’t lower). 2. It’s fake, just a decoration.

 

not sure about OP, but the member I traded with said it was harder for him to see over the hood. The hood on the 3rd gens is long enough, thebwith the added bump of the scoop cuts down your view.
