    I have had 2 different places run a code reader on my '94 Tacoma. They both say communication error
    No fuses blown. Need to get a reading for ck engine light. Tired of trouble shooting.

    Your sure about the year ?? Typo ?? Guessing this is the 97 ??


    Quite possible to have a bent pin or they are corroded or just dirty

    Electrical cleaner works wonders

    Then maybe whoever hooked things up was just lazy.

    Most places figure out why you don`t have communication and fix the issues
