I’ve recently acquired an OEM cargo divider, 4 bed cleats and an extra block heater cord all for $150 CDN on Kijjiji which I consider a smoking deal!

Anyway, today I had my Bakflip MX4 installed and picked up an OEM bed mat..man is this thing grippy! As you can see I also had to drill holes in the bed mat for both Bakflip drain tubes, no biggie.

As we all know, the Bakflip tonneau cover drops the bed rail tracks an inch or so and the Bakflip bracket design also pushes both tracks about 3/4” closer than they were.

To install the OEM cargo divider, you simply flip both brackets upside down (so that the cover doesn’t hit the knobs of the divider) and trim ~3/8” of an inch off each side of the cargo divider top rail.

After doing this, the divider now fits between the rails just fine, but the thickness of the bed mat takes up any clearance you had at the bottom of the divider. To get around this, I’ve read about people using spacers, but I went a different route.

Using an angle grinder and a zipcut disc, I trimmed about an inch off the bottom the whole way across. I just trimmed along the indent on the bottom rail, using it as a guide. Seems to work fine and I have about the same amount of clearance on the bottom that I would have had without the bed mat.

Keep us posted on how well they work. I’ve been thinking about getting a set of these. I also need to change out the latches so they’ll stay closed while off-roading.

To answer some questions. Yes I know it's a truck. It's a BDS 6" with the Fox Coilovers up front and Fox shocks and blocks in the back (may change that if I dont like it). Even before the alignment it rides like butter. I'll update as she comes along.
Oh and the Mercedes is a GTS. 20180503_203141.jpg 20180503_203039.jpg

Thanks for getting back to me. Looking forward to seeing more pics. I’m planning on going with the same setup and I’ve heard nothing but great things about the BDS 6” Coil-Over Suspension System. I’m trying to get most of my other mods complete prior to making my final Suspension System upgrade. I plan on the following:
    • Fox 2.5" C/O Remote Reservoir Shocks w/ DSC Adjusters
    • Fox 2.5" Remote Reservoir Rear Shocks w/ DSC Adjusters
    • ArchiveGarage Hammer Hanger w/ Stock Shackles (Provides 1/2” Lift)
    • Archive Specific U571 Deaver Spring, 4”+ Lift with Stock Weight
    • ArchiveGarage HD U-Bolt Flip Kit Option 4: 3.25"OD Pedestal mount for thread in bumpstop, with 3/8-16 flange nut welded in, with 3" tall Wheeler's Super bumps
I was thinking the hydraulic Fox Bumpstops but with my truck having a 6” lift, I’m thinking Wheeler’s Super Bumps instead. Just might give you some ideas for later on. I’ve heard the ride is amazing tho with how the Suspension System comes. Glad your happy with it man!

Thanks man! Ya I must admit I really just kinda started out wanting to look good and be comfortable on the street. This thing will most likely never see more than a trail or mud so all the craziness is probably overkill for me. That set-up you listed sounds mint. I'd like to see how it all comes together! Appreciate the feedback and I screenshotted your parts list. Thanks!

No problem. Yeah it is mint. Not too much, but it’s also not just basic. My main focus at the beginning was a daily driver. Now that I have my car back, I’ve slowly been working on getting it to a place for some off-roading, nothing crazy, but more easy to moderate trails and camping. It’s a great setup for sure and I think you’ll really like it.
