Opinions on this pressure washer......

This one is for sale in stores near me and was wanting to get your impressions on it.

The 1,500psi electric model I've been using is having some problems and is on it's last legs.

Would be using the one above for car washing, driveway, house & deck.

The dialing nozzle simply index to the setting you want. I'm not really a fan of this for car use because I like to use my foam cannon and various other nozzles for wheels and truck. It appears to be easily removable and then normally heads can be used.

I like the Honda motor, too.

Would like some opinions from folks in the know.

 

I've had a Ryobi Backpack Leaf Blower for two years now and that thing runs like a champ, gets used year round and always cranks. Cant say much about their pressure washers since I've never owned one of theirs. I would tell you to stay away from Briggs and Stratton thou.

 

Also considering the base model Stihl unit.

 

I own one of those...got a great deal on an open box from HD last season. Only used it a few times but no complaints. Works great with a foam cannon. The selectable nozzle it comes with can be swapped out, but its handy as an all purpose.

I used mine today. Had been in the garage sitting with fuel stabilizer. Couple pulls and it started right up. The idle down feature works well, supposed to cut down on fuel consumption. If I remember, the small fuel capacity is one of the biggest complaints.

I have this exact same pressure washer, actually it is my 3rd such one. I have had to return 2 of them for rough running and hard to start issues. My 3rd one also is a bitch to keep running at first. I have to start it and let it idle for a while before I can use the wand. If I start the motor and try to use the wand right away, the motor just stops. Ryobi has no answers for me as to why I have this problem I live just above sea level so I know it isn't an air intake issue. Once it is good and warmed up it works great. I drove past a house once where I saw a guy with the same unit, he said he had no problems starting the motor and getting to work right away.

The adjustable nozzle isn't my favorite but I have yet to have any issues with it. It comes off very easy so I can get my foam cannon on the end of the wand.

What I would really like to get is a Kranzle but they are way out of my price range.

Sun Joe spx3001. Hell the long hose and Mosmatic gun with swivel costs more than most of the Chinese electrics but is worth every penny and you could always get the Kranzle or another high end washer later.
