    Howdy!

Name’s Joe. I’ve mostly been a forum lurker because I can usually find what I need in existing posts but it seemed like this particular one required membership to view photos and such so I figured “what the heck?” (Excuse my language, lol)

Just bought my 2002 Turd a week or so ago from a kid with 122k on it. It’s a great truck but I’ve got lots of de-high schooling to do to it which I suppose I could post pictures of in a build forum in case anyone is actually interested in a “de-modding” thread. Haha

In case anyone is interested in me as a person, I’m originally from Texas and I moved to the mountains about 2.5 years ago where I currently work as a Maintenance Tech for Continental Automotive. I love automobiles and will probably die with a wrench in my hand.

Hi Joe and welcome to TW. You live in the right place if you want to go overlanding. We just got back from doing trails near Ashville. Look up Hurricane Creek (after you get sliders) its amazing!!

Yeah i’ve looked into that a bit. Sounds like a blasty-blast. I’ll have to catch the wife up but I’m sure she’d be game. Unfortunately, we’re in the middle of quite a busy stretch of months so it may have to wait but I’d like to get involved with the community here for when that time comes.
