So just wanted to share some bad news (no I don't have pics because I haven't had time to take any).

Last Friday, we got a hail storm... I was out with the Mustang and the Tacoma and Cobalt were at home. Ping-pong sized hail pounded for about 20 minutes on Friday 3/14.

Dents/dings in all three of my vehicles... and the cobalt window cracked.

Working with insurance company now... and my deductable is 500. I know that at least the Cobalt will be done because it's cheaper to replace the window and dents through insurance by paying only the deductable.

The Mustang MAY go in the shop - although dents in that are more minor than the Tacoma and Cobalt because I was able to get it under a tree.

    So here is my question:

Other than the hair dryer/dry ice method - are there any other methods to get hair dings out of vehicles that work?

I'll be trying the hair dryer tonight when I get home.

I hear ya Don, I got pelted! we had two rounds of hail friday. about the same as size as yours. i gues we got lucky though, each round only lasted about 5 minutes. the taco got away unhurt, but every vehicle in my work parking lot with a lower windshield angle needs new glass.

Yea man - it sucks... And I'm not feeling like shelling out 1500 bucks on deductables (500 per vehicle) to get this done, so... I am seeking alternate methods to fix it all.

We got the hail too. It was pretty nasty. Luckily no dings or broken glass here though.
