Magnum RT Install Question

2018 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4

So I’m installing Magnum RT side steps on my Sport, and I can’t figure out how to put a wrench on the backside of the bolt when attaching steps to bracket. Especially on the rear one.

How did you guys keep the bolt from slipping while tightening?
