Traction light on, cant get it off

    Need help!!
    Just got my truck back from fixing, due to driver suspension ,, everthing all fix but the slip indicator/traction light is on and cant get it off,, tried to unplug battery and still notting, even put the traction button but notting,, my truck was ship to oahu to get it fix, any advice

    Driver front suspension,, they change LCA and UCA,, it happened when i minor crash into a car and the stibilty control light came on and they didnt fix it,, i spoke to them and told me, it should come off after awhile of driving

    2014..without ABS? It has it unless you disabled it, so yes it should work. ABS and and VSC come factory on later models, look for the ABS and VSC light when you first turn your key on when all the lights come on.

    My truck is equip with the abs,, it comes on when i turn ignition.. but just the slip control is on

    Idk what you're getting at.. I believe what you're calling slip control is VSC = Vehicle stability control. That procedure I posted will recalibrate it and might make your light go off.

    you need a zero point calibration. it will get you slip indicator light to go off. when its on it will read code c1336. you can do it like the above post or take it to a dealership.

    Ur right,, sorry to make it understandable,, yes its the VSC light on,,i will try to do it tomarrow.. i let u knw if all is good.. will this work in normal opperation? thankx

    Your not hurting anything by driving with the light on its just letting you know that some thing is wrong with the system. Happens a lot when you lift your truck and change the angle or hight from factory. Some time it also will kick on after a hard impacted to the front end. my came on when I hit a large rock with the driver side front wheel and knocked the alignment way out of wack.

    Do u notice if it slows down your vehicle? And also after calibrating it,, will i able to use the VSC switches again ?

    no it will not slow your truck down and once the calibration is done every thing should go back to normal.

    yup that's the one. If that's the only light you have one then the zero calibration should fix it.

    Yup, thats the only light i have on beside the seatbelt,, will calibrate it soon
