I'd say that too if I had bought the last model year of a truck. Third gen is awesome. Manual Tranny or OV Tuned Auto, you can't go wrong.

I love my black truck, however, whenever I see a Barcelona red 4Runner or Taco on the road i get a little bit of buyers remorse. I just always loved that color and settled on black.

Adding a photo to this as well, to show that you do not have to black out a black truck.

I got black just because the price was right. I’d go with grey.

Black is a great color for robbing banks at night, the Red truly is the best color.

Agreed with both and many others already,

Black just looks dirty and old with just a little dust on it in no time. The only way I will take black is If I'm retired with time and money so buying the UNLIMITED carwash membership for 30-40 or 50 dollars per month and just keep passing through those tunnels to get it clean every other day, but NOW someone is saying that carwashes tunnels will get a lot of scratches on your paint , So that is just not functional either. Now other scenario: retired and nothing to do that just worshipping a truck cleaning up 2 - 3 times a week just to looks cool, maybe , but for now not on my agenda either, So ..... paying for hand wash will be the option but not on my budget , so I PASS on new Black truck !!!! To respond to the OP.... if you buy black is like telling to a teenager " DON"T DO IT".... you still will

Grey \ Silver \ Lunar Mist\ MGM whathever you name that color is the nicest to keep without living in a carwash.

Gold \ Desert Sand \ Cement will be second color on my list for nice looking without washing it, desert colors.

White \ Green and others will be later on the list but not so interesting on get those as the 2 color options above.
