Just got rear ended in my 2017 Camry. Wish I’d have been driving the truck. Probably would’ve just bent the hitch.

Guess I didn’t think of that, more metal bumper hitch compared to plastic. Small Kia probably would’ve rolled up under.

We were in a far right turning lane slowing down to the light, some dickhead in a Chevy Volt in the inside turning lane decided last minute to switch over then slam on his brakes. I had to lock down the brakes to keep from hitting him and the lady behind us hit us.

Guy in the Volt just drove off. Luckily it happened right in front of a Cinco De Mayo event and some fire fighters watched it happen. They got his plate, not sure if anything will happen to him though.

Feel bad for the lady that hit me, it’s really his fault for driving like a prick but her insurance will end up footing the bill.

I woke up to a backed up sewer clean out with raw sewage flowing all over my damn backyard. Had the plumber blast it with pressurized water. He didn’t snake it because “the house is too new”, being built in 2005. I had him use the inspection camera just to be safe and we find out there’s some plastic plant pot saucer shoved in the sewer line for some reason.

Plumber says I have two options. Option 1 is we take a chance and we try to push the plant saucer all the way out to the street with his inspection camera and make it the city’s problem once the 4” pipe becomes 8” at the street. They would do this for free on top of what we paid for the jet blasting. However, if it gets stuck under the street we have to pay the city to come dig up the sidewalk and asphalt and pay thousands. 50/50 chance of failure/success is what he said.

Option 2 is we push the debris to the front yard where they would dig down 5 feet, cut the pipe, and pull it out by hand. They quoted $3,000 for this. The house was built on Marshland so the water table is very high.

I told the guy I’d think about it and give him a call if I decide. Part of me thinks he was giving me the run around so I called my buddy who owns a commercial plumbing company to come take a look at it, he’s coming out Tuesday.

Tacoma related because it soaked my 5-lug tailgate and spare tire I had laying in the side yard with shit smelling foulness.

I would ask him what it would cost if you dug the ditch, thats where most your labor cost will be...that would save your folks some cash...sucks man

Been contemplating selling my sliders. I'll never use them for their intended purpose and I'm not sure I like the look of them on my truck to be honest. 100% bolt on set up custom built by myself. What do y'all think?0505181701.jpg 0422181415d.jpg

Yeah, they don't go with the low black strip on the truck.

My new '99 hauled some firewood today! Those rounds were freshly cut and HEAVY at about 50-60 lbs each. Mammoth to the house in Bishop (about 60miles) no problem!
Damn, I LOVE this little truck! :woot:

Are those led light bars under the headlight? If so, custom made or aftermarket?

I thought they were pretty much the closest to bolt in? The outside rail needs to be bent on the front and the back is like an inch or so off
