So I hit a pothole recently on my commute to work and noticed a little pull to the right, so I get in this morning for an alignment. It took forever due to the alignment cam being seized. So I get it back and had to run around to do some things, mild highway used, no real tight turns. Firstly, steering wheel isn't straight when the wheels area, no biggie I can get that fixed on my next day off. Secondly, I heard a loud sound, what at first I thought was metal on metal at nearly full lock turning into my garage from the alley (very limited space to make the turn).

So I roll around back and forth and my first thought was sway bar on coil, but after a dozen + tries, I can't see any contact being made. It's definitely sounding like some sort of binding, I believe in the LCA. Bushings look intact, spacing on either side of the bushing looks fine, cams aren't loose or anything like that. This noise was definitely not happening before the alignment. Oh and mild articulation causes it as well, even at much less of a turning angle. This is on a 2013 DCLB Limited, 2" OME lift.

Final thought... It seems like I may have heard this a couple of times after my last alignment and it stopped, I'm not 100% certain, just trying to piece together anything that stands out from my previous alignment. Thanks in advance!!

Are you using a big box shop or an independent known for quality work?

It's a Cooper Tire location, but in the past they've always done quality work.

After an alignment, the tech should take it on a test drive. The fact that he sent it down the road with a crooked steering wheel, shows that he doesn't give a shit.

I agree. I might, just might be able to give this a pass because it's such a slight angle, but it's definitely there. Now to go back Monday morning and see how they make this right. At this point I'm mostly interested to see how the handle the sound as I think it's coming from the LCA bushings after they admittedly had a problem with the cams being seized. I'd imagine they broke the bushings getting the cams to move.
