    Guys,

Thought I would share my latest trick for my 2012 Tacoma. My girlfriend has been rear ended twice in just 3 years. Too many people not paying attention. I went searching for something to make the rear of her new Santa Fe and my Tacoma more visible to those behind us. I found this website. http://www.3rdbrakeflasher.com/ and thought that is a good idea. After checking with some friends with the local police and state troopers about legality of such a device, decided to try it out. So, I purchased mine thru Amazon.

Installation was a cake walk, super easy. The device can easily be programmed to flash different patterns, and timings. I got the M1 model.

Bonus, it looks cool and I have had two other Tacoma owners ask me about it. Highly recommend this mod, it may just save your rear one day!

Does it constantly keep flashing or does it stay on solid after so many flashes?

It stays solid after several flashes. I have only tried programming three different patterns. So, I can't tell you if one of the many other programmable patterns will flash the entire time.

That is what I needed to know. I like the light going solid after a couple of flashes. I have a setup like that on my motorcycle. I plan on ordering 1 for my truck. Appreciate you passing your find on to the forum.

Purchased for my 2017 Tacoma but, if you have the bed led light package, it requires removing the headliner in order to access the third brake light. The brake light cover does not screw off. Will be returning the flasher unfortunately.
