    Delete thread, problem solved.

Ended up using a 5/16" Pin Punch, worked like a charm. Thanks guys!

I'm looking to buy a new or used Fox 2.5" Preload Spinner Wrench, like the one pictured below. Will pay shipping depending on price. I'm located in southern Alabama.

I have one you can use if you want to ship it back to me, I thought I needed one too, but I instead favor a hole punch as it's easier to navigate in that tight space

Not a hole punch persay but a punch roughly the same diameter of the hole in the lock-ring assembly. For example this is the "upgraded" version of King's suspension adjustment tool. I used this the other day and it works mint - worked 100x better than trying to get a wrench around our tight shock tower braces.

Thanks guys, I'll definitely check into it. I read another thread where a feller used a phillip head screwdriver. He claimed it fit and worked perfectly. I believe the Fox rings are 5/16" hole so I may ride to Lowes and rig something. I'm literally going to use this one time only to adjust my driver side by .5" ... lol.

Dont use a scewdriver. Just make sure to unload suspension with a jack on the frame, wd40 the shock body threads and go easy. If still to stiff, rent a spring compressor from oreileys just to get a bit of tension off the collar nut. I can adj my kings in like hr for both sides
