We met a guy up there that was camping with his son. They took us to see this cabin and had some good laughs sitting around the campfire. The boy kept repeating a line from Infinity War.... "Kicking names and taking ass!" he thought it was the funniest thing ever. Good times.

My next outing will be the 27th mammoth trip being planned. I may do a small day run in between. I seriously need new tires and get my rear shocks on and the aal plus the extended brake lines.

It’s was great. Sleept in there quite comfortably with my 2 daughters. We weren’t very level, although I tried to level the truck a bit with some rocks, so the kids woke up in one corner of the tent. Lol It got a bit windy in the middle of the night and the tent held up beautifully. I need to create some additional support for the mounting hardware. The tent did move slightly from off roading up the mountain. I don’t really like the Yakima mounts as they were meant for a Yakima rack not CBI. Haha but no big deal, I’ll figure something out.

... my OCD loves that the CBI bars angle practically the same as the tent. Streamline AF! Lol

I believe a few of the guys are using muffler clamps to secure the tent to the bed bars.

I always say ...it’s better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them!
