2016 Tacoma DCSB TRD Off-Road 4x4 MGM

Needing some help with vent visors. I have a 2016 Double Cab Off Road. I’ve tried both the EGRs (whistling from cross winds) and AVS twice (both came with scratches from the factory). I’m looking to try the Weather Techs. Can someone confirm that the rear rain guards use the metal clips along with the tape to help hold them in place? Thanks in advance.
