Hello, I just created my account/profile, I joined because I own a 2006 Tacoma and I have a lot of questions regarding maintenance and keeping the vehicle running. I hope that by being a member of this forum, I will learn a lot about my truck, how to take care of it and maybe how to do some very minor upgrades to get a little more out of it. I look forward to learning from some of the other forum members that have knowledge and experience

Can some give a link to any post that discuss the pros and cons of servicing my automatic transmission with 172000 miles on it, I have heard that once the trans is serviced the tyranny will always have problems. I did a search and there were several post that populated, I was hoping to narrow or down to a handful as to not spend the whole day's searching and reading through to find it didn't address my question
