    Good for Santa Cruz not being strong armed into only buying domestic because it’s the American thing to do.
    I like to see municipalities making sound financial decisions with tax dollars

    We seem to have quite a few Tacoma’s in the City fleet; park rangers and Fire Department. Plus one or two Tundras. But the majority of city fleet trucks are domestic, and police patrol cars are all Fords. So it’s a mix, still mostly domestic.

    Didn’t get a photo, but saw a 2nd gen TRD OffRoad 4wd, not PreRunner, in the supermarket parking lot with State of California exempt plates and “UC Official Use Only” (University of California) license plate frames. Never seen that before ... wonder what it’s used for that they spec’ed an OffRoad.
