sPod Bantam and ARB single CKMA12 Installed. Added a Blue Sea 285-Series Circuit Breaker 100 Amp for extra protection and an easy way to disconnect all accessories tied to the Bantam

    The goods

First Iteration. Ordered a blank PowerTray to mount the ARB compressor and Bantam. I think it came out clean.

PowerTray blank template after drilling holes

Screen mounted inside using Ram mounts

    Looking into the cubby

Backside of the cubby. Bolts are for the base of the Ram ball mount.

Added some rubber grommets and added the rear lights and puddle lights

Blue Sea circuit breaker mounted under the PowerTray

Rear facing/reverse lights are triggered automatically when put in reverse. Also switch controlled with the Bantam.

Puddle lights are triggered from the dome light to go on when unlocked, locked vehicle is approached with key fob, etc... Also switch controlled with the Bantam. This was pretty tricky due to the way the Tacoma dome light wiring is setup. Did have to use a relay to reverse polarity for the reverse trigger and had to use a diode on the dome trigger to prevent my dome lights from then going on when put in reverse. John at sPod was super helpful working with me to figure it out.

Also added an ignition trigger to allow the compressor to run only when the accessory system is on/ideally when the truck is running...

Will add more pictures of the puddle lights and reverse light installs soon.

Reverse/rear facing lights installed. Rigid Ignite diffused. Lights are wired into the sPOD Bantam. The Bantam uses a trigger wire from the stock reverse lights to control and automatically turn on lights when shifted into reverse and they can also be switched through the sPOD. Lights are really bright and nice for backing up at night with the tinted windows. Also provides tons of light for setting up in the dark or those night rides.
Super tight behind the bumper. Only two possible spots to mount unless you really cut into the support in the bumper.

Puddle/rock lights, whatever you want to call them. Wired into the Bantam and switched automatically through the dome light. Can be manually switched or will come on when door is opened, unlocked or locked vehicle is approached with key. Pretty cool in dark parking lots or out in the middle of nowhere camping. Will probably switch out for all white kit instead of RGB. Red is pretty cool at night but that’s about it. I never use the color changing stuff.
    Front driver side mounting

Under driver door. Made some mounting brackets out of scrap. I like this better than drilling into the frame right here and it keeps it up pretty high.

    Under driver side rear door

Rear light up under behind the rear bumper.
    Drilled into frame support.

    Light output in the garage

Edit: swapped out the kit for the Extreme LED kit. Much happier with the all white.

Awesome looking truck! I’m thinking about going with a similar suspension/tire set up as you. How does the boss kit ride on road compared to stock? Thanks!

Thanks! I like the kit overall. I definitely should have considered an add-a-leaf or maybe some heavy duty leaf replacement because the last camping trip I was practically riding on the bump stops when completely loaded up. On road the ride is a bit stiffer than stock and the additional height contributes to additional body roll but other than the issue when hauling around a bunch of extra weight, I am pretty happy with it.

Installed the AirRide manifold to work with my ARB OBA Compressor and the Firestone Ride-Rite airbags with the Daystar cradles. Took the better part of a day but happy about the results.

Put the Prinsu Cab Rack on with an Extreme LED light bar and the Rigid Scene Lights. Wiring is fun. Turned out pretty clean.

Do you mind explaining to me the purpose of the Blue Sea circuit breaker? Is it just so you can switch off power to the Bantam / all accessories easily?
