Is anyone running the 2010-2013 4runner TE wheels on their truck? I searched and found some pics but I was hoping to find more than just the ones quoted below.

I just picked up a set of 295/70/17 Nittos and am considering a set of factory 4runner TE take-offs, but I suspect that they won't be worth it. The wheels are 17x7.5 with a +15mm offset so I would probably need spacers to clear the UCA, right?

That's an awfully wide tire on a 7.5 wheel.

no different than a 285 on a 7" wheel, which myself and thousands of others do and have done without issue. Hell, people run 315's on stock 7" wheels.

to answer the actual question, yes, you will need at least a 3/4" spacer to clear the UCAs with 295. You would need it for 285 as well simply because they are larger than stock size.

I think I'll end up running 1.25" spacers for about 3.3" of backspacing. Just gonna run these tires/wheels for this season of wheeling before I start tearing into my truck this winter; I have started building a front axle for SAS and was hoping to keep it low on 37s. If I have to tub the firewall I'll just suck it up and do it sooner rather than later :sawzall:

1.5" Spacers were required in the front.
