Best thing about a trail rig/beater, you can leave it on the trailer and fix it up whenever you get time, vs having to fix a DD.

 

Exactly! Stressing out over having the truck back together by morning gets old.

I've got a long way to go before I get a trail rig...but it's in the plans.

Going to get my truck closer to done and then see what happens.

 

Its all a tradeoff. With a trail rig still need to insure it and keep it in parts. Then it either needs to be in good nuff shape to drive back and forth, or you need a trailer and a trailer puller. Pick a yo poison.

 

If I was doing trail rig, I'd put that thing on a trailer.

 

Yeah, thinking maybe even a second gen white DCSB for a trail rig.
