    Morning all:
Looking all over for a small 4lb downrigger ball that I thought I might have left on my buddies boat when we shad fished, couldn't find it so I ordered 2 new ones. Well yesterday I found the TWO that I had, forgot that I had 2 of them! Oh well, now I can keep 2 of them on each of the Jon boats that both have downriggers on them. Funny thing was, they were in a plastic ammo type box sitting in plain sight right next to the battery box in the one boat, guess that's where the term "hiding in plain sight" came from! :annoyed:
Walleye opened last night, didn't go, windy as heck here and would have been extremely hard to control the boat trolling as close to shore as we do. Jim was going to go out with his BIL, I don't know if they went either but I'll check with him later today.

UPDATE: They got a 25" and a 27" walleye, and said they lost 4 that also felt pretty decent. Looks like I may need to put the raingear on and go out tonight, Jim has obligations with his GF so he can't go!

It is a competition using silhouette paper targets measuring speed and accuracy.

Typically 3 different targets are engaged at different distances with 2 shots fired at each target. We shoot middle, right, then left in that order. Each shot is scored with the X ring counted as 10 and progressively farther away scored at a lower value. The accumulative value of each group of 6 shots is divided the the elapsed time with the net value being the competitor's score for that stage. We shoot 5 stages with 1 throw away. Value of the remaining 4 stages is the final score.

You guys can relax, no humans or animals are harmed in this event.

Sorry, only firearms below .50 cal and no full auto allowed on our range. I have no doubt your bazooka would be effective though. Looks like fun to me.

    Morning all:
Just got back from the lake, darn walleyes had lockjaw tonight! :( We will be out again tonight, can't do any worse!!!
Last year we couldn't do much at the lake, sure not going to spend a lot of time there if we can't get them in decent numbers anymore.

I've been hanging out with the Schuh Syndikat this week. Romping around in the mountains of NC, SC, TN. They let me tag along even though I don't have the right car -- mine's a Z4, they love their Z3's. We had dinner last night at Charlotte Motor Speedway, in the "Speedway Club" no less! Fantastic roads and views, great people, good times.
