Sorry to hear about that. Are you going to get a new gas tank or is the jb weld they put on there going to do the trick?

 

Drying and cleaning my tent out this morning. So much red dust/dirt! Who was the one I bought my waterport from again? I'm terrible with remembering names. I mounted it inboard of my rack because the last 3 trails we ran it got really close to hitting it on trees. Anyways, it works perfect and the hose is able to hang from my rainfly to wash the feets off before getting in. Been needing one bad!

I've got a Limited so only the front of the tank is protected. I caught a ledge and it was just the final straw from all the beatings this thing has taken and it punctured it.

JB weld seems to be holding just fine. Looking into what my cost on a new tank and skid plates are right now...
