I posted this in the scratch sticky, but. . . I use a Swiffer Duster to gently get off any particles. After that, I just use a clean micro fiber cloth and isopropyl alcohol to clean it. No scratches yet.

Nope. All cats/mufflers and everything were all kept in place. Just the little pass under was removed.

It is amazing how hard times (self inflicted or otherwise) will be that blessing in disguise! Glad you had that realization that there are better things in this world you were meant to be there for.

Without going into detail, I wouldn't have met my wife without having to face the trauma in my life...and come out stronger for it.

Stay safe out there, sounds like you are all over it.

I got a muffler tip just to help with the "black out". I know the muffler isn't exactly chrome, but it feels much cleaner now.

Happy with the results. Simple and effective.

EDIT: Oh, and it looks like it sticks out past the tire/mud guard, but it doesn't.

I'm imagining an amphibious Taco mod that would enable escape to sea in the Tacoma.

Yeah it’s welded, the tip is powder coated, had my local shop weld it, they didn’t blink an eye, is that structurally correct probably not, but it hasn’t fallen off yet.

You could always grind the coating where the weld needs to be, then recoat it

Also just got done painting up some of my interior trim. I think I'll redo it at some point as I rushed the paint job and have a couple fingerprints and a nick on the driver side. Looks good though from a couple feet away. Adds a ton of color back to the interior without being overwhelming. Love the Inferno color.

Replaced stock Toyo tires with 285/70/R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler Hybrid tires (love them- minimal noise on Hwy and aggressive look). Already had a 3" Lift with Bilstein shocks, so did not need cab-mount chop, and only other modification to fit 33" tires was taking off the front mud guards. I do have 1.25" Spacers on the truck currently.

Also, plasti-dipped stock 17" tacoma rims matte black, 5 coats. Added 30" Rough Country Light Bar in grill as well.

I also removed the chrome TACOMA off my doors and it def looks much cleaner. Just can't decide on removing the bed TRD stickers.

Added a simple yet effective phone mount. I didn't want one that sticks to the dash or windshield. I just added a magnet between the shell of my phone case and my phone. Works very well and the phone stays in place.
