I;ve had the regular T&N for about 3 years now. When I first got it, I was pretty impressed with it and liked it. However 3 years later I'm not 100% sold on it. It gets warm like all other foam mattresses. Also if you tend to sit on the edge of the bed (to put socks on or whatever), the side does collapse. for the money I paid for the T&N, it's been worth it in my opinion, but I don't think this will be a long term mattress, I need to find something cooler. Half tempted to try the new "Purple" bed with its fancy new gel.. Alternatively, I'm also eye balling the sleep number bed...

The new Mint from T&N has better edge support. It’s much better than the original.

have they changed anything about the foam? I don't know if its because I've gotten older or what, but I sweat at night on that mattress.

Exactly. It’s not hat the money is the issue, it’s just that the expense is nearly just to have a trailer.

I have a shop I can store it at but I’m kinda the person that doesn’t like to overstay his welcome, if you know what I mean.

Storage centers would save me like $25, and for that it’s worth having it close.

My apartment had a sale on garages in March. $100 for the lease term instead of $150. I wasn’t serious about a trailer at that time. But, I may go see if they will honer that deal still... maybe.

And as far as building more, I’ll not opposed to it, but would want to build mine first and work out kinks before I put my name on something.

Yes. I believe they added more graphite(?) to make it cooler at night. Check the website to confirm. I’m super warm and Ryan is cold blooded like a lizard. I’m miserable if I get warm. Mint is a good upgrade.

That may or may not be why I’m taking the time to draw it in CAD. Accuracy and ability to modify and build more.

Plan is to hand the file off to a good budy with a machine shop and pay him to precut all the pieces and miter cuts to save time and effort on my end. With that I think I can have one welded up in a few days rolling.

I love the comfort of foam mattresses but this is the biggest issue with them. We've tried a handful of companies and all of them just kept you really warm. We ended up moving away from foam mattresses due to this.

I have the sleep number and it’s nothing special the side collapses as well on it. they are foam on the sides to incase the air mattress. It is not hot which is good but it’s honestly just an adjustable air mattress in a with a padded covering.
