Confirmed with seller that letters shipped separately, they were just a few days behind the grill and i didn't know that, no worries there. as far as the broken tab im working with the seller to get a partial refund, seems like a few people have made it work with a broken one or two.

Got this set off Ebay. Just a heads up if your SR is wired for it you can do an install that will not need an add a circuit. If you have the convenience package on your SR then you probably are. I am but the fam gave me this kit as a gift. Plus this is the lower cost option. They actually got it with a 20 percent off ebay coupon. There are several kits on ebay. Kit has everything you need except add a circuit and fuse for switch. Here is the thread on doing an install if you are pre-wired by @Nitori. Here is post from another thread I had.

[IMG]$69 2016-2017 TOYOTA TACOMA BUMPER DRIVING FOG LIGHTS LAMP YELLOW W/BLACK BEZEL+BULBThe kit is pretty straight forward. The light trim fits pretty good but not as tight as a stock one would. H11 bulb seems to work good...also like the color of light also. Will keep an eye out for OEM light trim. Only cause I can be picky at times. Taking the old trim off was pain in butt... Had to shove arm in from top and feel around to get the snaps out. Also fished the wire thru the bumper (internal bumper not cover) using two metal coat hangers. Used add a circuit and connected to switch fuse so won't accidentally leave on and drain battery.

oh wow, great find. that was my only gripe with the grill after the install and even before buying the grill. but i found a work around that hides the gap, kind of sort of. the gaps are still there, but now it looks like the gap was kind of intentional, if that makes sense. so now im 100% happy with it. thanks for the link!

i should have taken pics when i did it.

so i bought some black screen spline from home depot. the thing you us to attach the mesh to a window screen. if youve installed the faux grill, you might know what im talking about. on the inside of the color matched part of the grill, there are these grooves all the way around the grill. i pretty much sandwiched the black spine in those grooves. so the gap is still there, but it now looks like theres a "rubber gasket" behind the faux grill. the gaps were bothering me to much. i almost went back to the ofg road grill.

The $119 eBay grill fits my 2018 like a champ! It even houses the OEM TSS garnish without issues. Mind you this setup ran me $175 total and twas a breeze to install. The stealership quoted me $500 for grill, garnish and extra to install. Nope. For those with TSS, don't break the zip ties on the harness cause you can reuse them on the knock off grill. Test drove it 200 miles, no dash lights, error codes DRCC, lane departure bs work the same before install.
