Not sure how this works. I had a couple of rubbing issues with my new tires that I took care of with a heat gun. I put in my 3/4” taco lean spacer, got it realigned and now I’m going to have to do the cab mount chop, or shave off some rubber like a monster truck does.

 

Where's the rub? Are you sure the alignment is correct?

Or, ignore my questions. Cut all the things!

 

Just do it like I do. I have rubbing, I just let it rub until it will rub all the rubbing it can do where it won't rub any more.....

Just take your fenders off. You don't really need them in the woods.

 

When turning left going up into my driveway is when it happened.
There’s fresh rubber shavings on the cab mount.

 

I’ve already trimmed the flares.

Gonna have to go the bushwhacker route.

They also hit up top when the tires are stuffed.
I trimmed the lip, but I don’t think it’s going to be enough.

 

On the bright side,, my truck sits level and I shimmed the carrier bearing and fixed the driveline vibes.
