We get A LOT of prior service. Mostly Navy with a few Marines. Only seen a handful af Army folks. It’s very rare someone from the CG jumps ship for another service.

I honestly can’t complain. I did two tours on ships and have been on land since 2005. Made E8 last year and I’ll be eligible for E9 next year. See how it pans out.

No idea. If I pick up E9 I’ll stick it out until my 30. If it’s not looking like I will I’ll pull chocks around 24/25. It’s funny. I stayed in for the family then she divorced me! That was in 2015 though...17 years in already.

I can completely understand the choices you made. Nothing wrong with that at all. I’m getting ready to PCS back to CA and I’ll be a lot closer to my son and that’s going to help. My AO kinda gave me a good ole rogering last transfer season and sent me across the country away from him.

    I love these threads.

OP: Hey, guys. I'm mad. You're on my side right? Let's all hate on this guy I'm mad at, ok?

    TW: Nope.

OP: You all suck! You're not my friends anymore. I'm taking my marbles and going home!

    TW: Ok.

    To be fair...

3rd genner’s complain about a lot, the 2nd genners complain about the 3rd genner’s and the 1st genner’s complain that Walmart ran out of Metamucil.

    Your preparedness is disappointing.

When all else fails, break out the reserves. Can’t go wrong with scotch

But...you are breaking things. That’s a legitimate complaint.

I’m pissed cause I used up 12” of 1” webbing learning how to sew tonight.

Yeah, I need to work on some wiring now that I’ve got the compressor sitting over my relays and wiring. I may have got ahead of myself and done everything before going dual battery...now I need to go dual battery and unfuck my wiring

I’ve been on the fence for the switch pro. I don’t plan on doing a shit ton of electrical for the 4R so I have a blue sea fuse block and a relay block with 4 relays. I have the fridge hard wired to the fuse block, compressor wired to the battery and the lights to the relays. I still have 3 relays left.

This is the result of drunken sewing tonight.
