Hi everyone, I'm Kyler, I've been a 2012 T|X Tacoma owner since late 2011. Today I bought a new Inferno 2018 TRD Off Road Tacoma with a manual transmission to replace my old taco.
I really love the 3rd gen updates. The manual is taking me some getting used to. My other car is a 1970 Opel GT with a cable operated clutch and a 4 speed. It is weird not being able to feel everything through the clutch pedal on a hydraulic system and I'm not used to having 2 extra gears yet.

Some of you may have seen my 2012 Taco around the OU campus. Here's a pic.

It's been a good truck, I'm going to miss it. I hate the heavy arse ranch hand grille guard. I will not miss that. I have already stripped my JL Audio subwoofer, the n-fab light/faux roll bar, and I installed the tube steps onto my new Tacoma.

Here's my new 2018 Taco with the tech package and tonneau cover. In my definition of the word "mods", I don't really have any true mods yet. I put on a few decals. I have some inferno colored decals in the interior logos, the obligatory blacked out tailgate, I literally just put on a cheap curt trailer brake controller, and I put on my old tube steps. I plan on installing the bronze trd bead lock wheels, TRD or URD catback, and a Hellwig rear sway bar (my rock crawling days are over for a while).

Here's my 1970 Opel GT that I've rebuilt from the ground up. This Tacoma will be towing this little fella 2000 miles to and from a big car show in Carlisle Pennsylvania very soon. This car is where all my mods go. The engine is stroked and bored to 2.0L, lightened flywheel, Weber 40 DCOE side draft carb, poly bushings and 1" lowering and sway bars all around. Wideband AFR gauge, custom Bluetooth sound system, and lots of fabrication under the hood.

Anyway, I look forward to learning some more about this truck on the forum. I've already found the problems thread and I'm checking in to them all!
