What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Has anyone taken the lumbar knob off their seat? I never really adjust it and all it does is trash the seat. Wondering if it's a simple job or not.

Not married yet but my girl does the same thing. So I refuse to go grocery shopping w/ her. Plus she stops & looks @ everything literally! I go in get what I need I'm out in 5min...

 

The place is a crapshoot on where threads go, not just this one, most wander and return to center at some point. Truck discussion comes up in bike threads. It'll be OK............there also talk of distracted women going shopping and wandering off too.............

Right on Definitely one of my better mods. Did this to all of my vehicles. Protects the wheel and keeps it slim enough, compared to the fit-on or stretch on type.

 

I love the Bronze wheels on the black truck. I have the same, Black, DCLB, and I'm looking into new wheels for it.

Vinegar & baking soda paste & elbow grease. White toothpaste works, too. (I used that on one the next day because it didn't look as good as the other)... Then turtle wax.

Side note* While researching that I learned that the white toothpaste also works as an antifog...(also credit to ChrisFix on YouTube)

Planning a week long trip into the alagash wilderness in ME. being spring we are prepared to see bears...not a fan of bear spray so Ive been playing around with an alternate option....liking this....little overkill but ehhhh if a bear ends up deciding to eat your friends face off overkill is kinda what yah want....right?

Ran into a little fitment issue with the wheels-- barrels come in contact with the front calipers a bit so I ordered some spidertrax spacers to hopefully solve it. Only downside is I'm anticipating I'll need a cab mount chop to clear with how far the wheels will stick out (around -22 offset with spacers).

Is there anyone in SoCal that can do a CMC for me? I'm in the Lakewood/Cerritos area. I've left a DM and text to Ryan aka Schmellfab but I haven't gotten a response yet unfortunately and I'd like to get this done possibly this weekend. Any help is appreciated!

Question: how does the plug stay in place with this IKA bracket.? Is it a form fit around the edges, and then captured on top somewhere? IKA website does not offer me any details. Thank you.
