Yep. Doesn't give it that wet/slick look like gel does... makes it look more "natural".

I think I know the stuff you're talking about; it comes in a little hockey puck? They girl at the barber shop always puts that on the cowlick on my forehead when I get a haircut so it all sticks up in the same direction.

Lol. I guess Gee-off uses hair gel too...

 

There is a bunch of different stuff out there, but that is one version of it, yeah.

The girl that cuts my hair swears by it. We went to highschool together, and I have been going to her for as long as I can remember.

 

I drive to the gym at 4:30am and I LOVE my light bar. I want to get some windshield mount lights to point to the peripherals now...

 

I use Suavacito Firme Hold Pommade. It's about the only thing that can control my hair haha

I do miss shaving my head down to the scalp every other weekend, but I see fewer people crossing the road to avoid me when I actually have hair. What's wrong with a big bearded man with a shaved head?! Nothing!

 

I've got a really old tube of Brylcreem that I use when I've got to get dressed up all fancy-like. Maybe I should upgrade...

 

Try the wax stuff out and see how you like it.

 

I'll ask the barbershop girl next time I'm in for a trim if she's got anything she'd recommend. Probably she'll just recommend the one she uses on my head, lol.

 

I'll tell you from driving the back roads to get to camp at 9 to midnight-1am, the 22" Sea Tough LED bar I have (22,000 lumens I believe) and the 2 Rigid dually pods (spot pattern) on the ditch brackets come in real handy. Sometimes it is totally fine and barely see anything on the roads and other times it seems like its a block party for the animals to be around the road

I've got two sets of Rigid Dually pods (flood and spot) mounted up front right now and I love them. I spend a lot of time through the winter on back roads through Vermont and NH and they've saved my ass a couple of times since I've got them. The floods throw enough light to the shoulders that I can see most critters that pose a hazard and the spots put a lot of light way up the road ahead of me. I'm adding a set of Dually side shooters as ditch lights and another set of floods to the back that will be switchable as on-off-reverse lights.

As long as you use them only when you need them and not all the time like the Bro Crowd, I'm in favor.

 

Really I'm looking for some small LED pods to mount on the rear of the truck, for plow season. But then I saw this while I was googling and now I'm going "hmmmmmmm........."

That'd be totally 80's, lol. But then I wouldn't fit into my garage.

I want to go with LED's to keep the draw down; I'll be using the spots when I'm plowing, and a plow draws a lot of amperage on it's on since the new ones are electric-over-hydraulic. If it weren't for that I'd just use the old-school Hellas I've had sitting in a box for 10 years, just waiting for the right truck to put them on

 

Sounds like the same reason I'm moving to the 6" HIDs from KC! Brighter with less draw.
