    Hello everyone...
New owner here. I've had a couple 2004 Tacomas in the past... both of which I wish I had never sold. But on Saturday I traded my 2016 Camaro 2SS for a 2018 Tacoma Access Cab TRD Sport 4WD V6 6MT. Truck is tons of fun to drive with the manual and it's nice not sitting on the ground anymore!

You all helped make my buying decision easier. Was looking at Colorados and Canyons and decided the Taco was the right move based on lots of good information on here... not to mention the Taco's legendary reliability and RESALE VALUE! I look forward to getting a lot more good advice on the forum.

    Things I love thus far:
    - Color
    - Engine & Transmission; Fun to drive, not even just for a truck
    - Solid build quality
    - Not having to squat down to get in and out or clean the interior
    - Nice firm but compliant ride and quiet interior
    - Decent tech in and out

    Dislikes thus far:
    - No remote start (manual transmission so I knew that going in, but miss it regardless)
    - No auto headlights (available with the tech package but wasn't worth the $1,500 to me; Plus an access cab, TRD Sport, 4WD with the 6MT is tough enough to find anyway). I just have to get back in the habit of flipping the switch which will take a few weeks I suspect
    - OEM wheels are just "OK". Will have to upgrade those ASAP
    - Seats could be a tad longer to give more support to the legs

Other than that, I'm very happy.

    Things to do:
    - Console organizer (ordered)
    - Hitch plug (ordered)
    - Window tint (being done tomorrow)
    - Expel film on mirrors, headlights and fogs (tomorrow with tint)
    - 3D Kagu Floor mats (ordered)
    - Soft Tonneau cover (trying to decide)
    - TRD shift knob (to be ordered)
    - Swap the color keyed TRD Sport front bumper lower trim with the TRD OR black lower trim (or just plastidip it... not sure yet)
    - Wheels and tires (lots of research to do and some time before the budget opens up for those)
