Man, I get banned for quoting a mod and told to come back on the 11th but then I was messaged and told I'm unbanned, had mods apologize, have the typical TW mob response, see there was a plot twist and people saw my perspective just to roll back to the initial mob mentality. Boy this thread was more then I could ever of asked for. I come back a few hours later to catch up and the laughs continue, thanks guys. For those of you that messaged/texted me or responded in my favor, thanks but don't feel like you need to stand up for me, cause part of this was my fault. And for those of you that messaged/texted me also going through similar issues, grind those suckers off like I had done and stay away from future possible issues with similar knobs. I removed my content from earlier, although my position hasn't changed. No one here, with the exception of the mechanic (if he chime's in great, if not thats okay) and myself saw the knob after removal. The cerakote was not to blame as I originally posted and hence the reason others with similar metal knobs with out cerakote are having issues. The risk is greater then I originally had known thus I created this thread for informational purposes. But in typical TW fashion, the mob is always right and bashing is all it evolved too. As I admitted before, I was partially at fault as was the seller. We both admitted it, however his customer service mentality is kind of what pushed me to make this thread too. Thanks again for the laughs guys, no hard feelings on my part against anyone here. Like every other experience in life, i'll learn from it. Life's to short to sweat the little things in life. Remember, for every second of your lives you spend upset/mad/frustrated/disgruntled etc., there's a moment of happiness you'll never get back. I'll be checking out of this thread now for good. God bless and see you guys on the trails. :burnrubber:

OP, next time try to list your side of the story in chronological order. It was kind of hard to follow. I have to go with the seller on this one. Cut your losses man.

Yaaaa the buyer definitely takes full fault for this one. Stop yelling wolf, admit your fault, apologize and move on like a grown man not a petty child

What's sad, is that it doesn't matter what the buyer or seller or TW thinks, but PayPal, which will probably rule in favor of the buyer.

Yeah seriously, besides isn't it common sense that coating anything increases its thickness?

The threads should have been either plugged while coating (an easy way to do that is to insert a bolt of the correct pitch and diameter) or tap the threads out when the coating is done.

    It ain't rocket surgery.
