IMO, the BF Goodrich Mudder KM2 is the best mudder out there. I have had four sets, and they are one tough tire!

Best road noise of any mudder too, you can hear them but not like some other mudders.

I have been out the loop... km3! I hope they're not mucking up a good thing. I really like the km2's. One of the best tires I've ran.

I don't think I'd go as far as calling them the best mudder, there are several other tires with deeper, more aggressive knobs, softer compounds, etc... The Trepador, Boggers, etc... come to mind...

However, the KM2's are probably the best all around semi-aggressive mud terrain tire that you can drive on the road (and not get hearing damage), and work great in most conditions, are available in a lot of sizes, E load range, etc... So, I still agree they're one of the best tires out there.

Are the KM2's going to go on clearance? Perhaps in a 255/85r16??

I'm not sure what BFG's plan is with regard to clearing out the KM2 inventory, you'll have to stay tuned for that. I can tell you that the 255/85R-16 is NOT on the initial wave of sizes coming out next month though - it may not be until late this year or early 2018 that this size is released.

As for KM3 itself, from what I can tell this model will maintain the current KM2 tread pattern (with some slight tweaks) and will feature BFG's new CoreGaurd Sidewall Technology that is found in All-Terrain T/A KO2.
