I wish I could take either/both of my dogs there, but they're Assholes and it would take more to wrangle them than taking pictures for the event, haha!

I want to bring my dogs out wheeling because they love to ride in the 4runner but the responsible part of me knows that the trails we usually run aren't always safe for them to be in there with us. So instead they stay home getting spoiled endlessly by their "grandparents".

Look into the harness system @hoarder23 and @SuperBad use for their dogs. The can traverse the seats, but can’t leave the truck or come forward.

Details please. Was getting ready to cobble something together out of an old child seat retention strap.

Put the pooch in a harness, and use this:
    https://www.amazon.com/Vastar-Adjustable-Vehicle-Seatbelt-Harness/dp/B014W40TSW

We've taken the 3-wheeler offroading and the loves it. Can make that strap long enough to where they can hang out the window, but not fall out. Also keeps them from jumping around

This is the harness we use:
    https://www.amazon.com/Ruffwear-Master-Harness-Handle-Currant/dp/B01N10GGKT/

Good for helping them up and down if they need help.

Heres some details on mine that I poasted in teh dog thread a while ago. It was inspired and is similar to @hoarder23's setup.
I'm about to re-install it so I'll take full install pics with the pup hooked up later.

I’d love to take my little gangster but picking her in and out of the truck would suck. And she howls randomly at shit like her tail. If I take the cruiser next year she might go

Mine loves rides and wheeling. She will stay with the group if I just let her out but she freaks people out as she constantly runs around the moving vehicles.

You could get a dog ramp to let him walk up into the back seat, mines big enough to jump in on his own. I'm working on figuring out how to make a ramp setup work to get my pup up into the RTT. Carrying him up the ladder into it at 65lbs is not fun. I usually apologize before people go to bed for the morning as he will bark and talk to me as I prepare his breakfast(usually around 6-7a, if I'm lucky he'll let me sleep until 730:rofl:).

I actually have these seat belts and they have harnesses I think I'm just being overly cautious.
