Looking for feedback from 2WD 2.7L 4CYL Prerunner Double Cab (automatic) owners who have installed Bilstein 5100's front/rear with 883 coils up front. Front height set at .00.

    1. Overall lift height? I have been told 1.5 inches which would not affect the geometry of the vehicle.
    2. At 1.5 inches would that level the truck?
    3. Ride quality improvement?
    4. Estimated labor cost for the install (central, southern California)?

If I decide on going this route it would include alignment and up-sizing tires to 265/75/16 (Wildpeak A/T3W). Current tire size is stock 245/75/16.

    Thank you!

    Jim

I found the below chart to be very accurate for a 4X4 and should get you where you want to be. I put 5100’s set at zero in the front and 883’s on my 14 Regular Cab and she sits perfectly level. The ride is firm but nice running 265 75 16 Falkens. I put the rear Bilsteins on myself and it cost $300 to get the front put on including allignment here in the midwest.

Brewnmn thanks for sharing your experience. I really appreciate it and found it to be very helpful. You have a nice looking truck. It sits level and looks great with the larger tires (w/plenty of space for the mudflaps). I love the regular cabs.

    All the best,

    Jim

I have 5100's at 0 on 883's and the recall leaf springs on my 4cyl AC. Lifted about a year ago, didn't write down the measurements but it was about 1.5" in the front. Ride is much improved over stock. Nose dive under braking is gone, bounciness is gone, handles turns much better. With my 4.5" BS wheels I get a little rubbing on the mudflaps at full lock. I've trimmed them so it's mostly gone, but still there occasionally.

Nothing straight from the side, but here's a couple:
