I was trying to be PC.....
As I understand it, Raisin Ranch was supplanted by Old Folks Home which was subsequently replaced with Senior Center which has now become Active Adult Center.
It's really tough keeping up with all this stuff so work with me here ok?
    Damn blue hairs....

Well, there is no standing water in my 15' tall arborvitae trees along my front driveway....and the drip irrigation line hasn't been turned on yet (thanks pup :annoyed:) Just gotta get them bitches under control up there.

There is a farmer's canal behind the house, so there is a giant breeding ground behind the house, but I put the junk down heavy in the easement between the canal and my fence line to mitigate their presence.

Fort Collins sprays the hell out of the entire city, late at night, so the nutcases don't bitch about the chemtrails.
Never really see any mosquitoes in the city limits. :D

For reference here's what my lawn currently looks like. Yes, it's overdue for a mow.

It's the consistent weed and feed I do.

Most importantly is hitting the lawn with it in March before weeds begin the emergent phase. April/May is too late for the first application.

Nice. That's impressive considering you have a dog back there.

The only issue I have is the soil is so compacted underneath my lawn. It's like concrete. I've rarely aerated. But I'm about to start having a guy do it twice a year so hopefully the soil gets back to normal in a couple of seasons.

throw a little iron on it, it'll be deep green and the dirt will start to soften.
One way is that Revive crap, otherwise, rust some metal in a bucket of water and spread it around once it ripens. But keep it off the deck and sidewalk as it will stain if not rinsed immediately.
