I posted in the 3rd Gen forum as well, but I have my kit ordered from DSM. Kings, Dakar, TC ucas. Someone had a good idea for me to check with the local thread as well. Shop quoted 1260 to install in Dixon. Just wanted to know if any people here that does lifts or has a shop or is interested in helping install for $$. Maybe someone that’s done it before and can make it a super smooth process. Any help appreciated! I’m still debating on paying the shop vrs doing it myself. Haven’t done a lift before, but I’m a maintenance engineer for a hospital so we fix anything. :sawzall:
    Thanks! I live in Vacaville

I’m in Vacaville. That’s lift seems easy enough.

$1260 is a lot. I’m sure some NorCal Tacoma peeps will work for pizza and beer. :drunk:

Not enough to have a build thread.
If you feel like traveling to sac, I'd help you out. I'll have a nice work space for it in about a month

$1260 is a lot for suspension install. I'm in Brentwood. Would love to help you if I was closer.

A lot of crap and too much money spent
Yeah, I would spend money on pizza and beer. Supply pizza and beer and they will come. I would be willing help for lunch and bullshitting.

1300 bucks is insane amount to spend for install.

Thanks! Ill post up when my kit comes in! Prob gonna be around end of May I’m assuming. I was lookin at the SCS wheels I like the SR8, but apparently back ordered and can’t pre order? I don’t understand the concept of not allowing a pre order. FCFS basis seems like a bad business decision. If someone wants your wheel, why not take the order and when you get them, ship them? Seems odd that I have to catch them when they are in stock and place the order then. Especially since I don’t use Instagram. They are gonna post on there when their shipment arrives. Seems more of a pain in the ass I might as well find a different wheel.

Just ordered them now. I picked next day Air for $1300.... hahaha ya right just standard ground. Now, next thought is which tire. Just like 1,000 tire posts on here with the same question. I want an aggressive look and def 285/70/17 is pretty much a 33 right? What’s the cheapest place to purchase tires?

I went with 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks on 17" SR8's gun metals and love the look. Tires are great. :burnrubber:

I can definitely try calling for a quote. The more I watch videos and read I’m leaning more towards just trying it myself with maybe some help.
