My Taco is a 2018 so it for sure fits. Best way to install is installing the front ends first then work your way back.

It’s plastic over a metal frame.

Chrome had it's run. Some may want it, but I have a feeling the masses are no longer feeling it. If more new vehicles were shipped without chrome pieces, I'm sure most people would leave it alone. Since most manufactures ship with it, most if us have to figure out how to get rid of it.

White wall tires were popular for a good while until that style faded away. I'm starting to see them back on muscle cars. Same goes for chrome. I think Batman started that whole matte black trend (just my guess):annoyed:

It's not that i don't like chrome. I don't like chromed plastics. I think they are a cheap imitation of the real thing. If i think of chrome, i think of my grandpa's 57 Chevy. That is beautiful. On my Tacoma, nope.

Also, I've always thought that orange looks best with black highlights. Orange is my favorite color and I've always wanted an orange vehicle. Thus, I got the Inferno.

Chrome looks great on classic cars, classic muscle, hot rods, and lowriders. But chrome accents on moderns cars just seems cheap to me. It makes it look like you bought all your mods from Pep Boys.

I got my OVtune installed last night! Driving it today was awesome. So much smoother and I don’t want to give numbers just so my numbers aren’t held to any standard (I drive a lot of neighborhood routes to get to and from work) but my mpg has already risen from 14.1 to 15.0. And I didn’t change any driving habits. The shifting is smooth. I tested out the power and it is orgasmic. I had it built up in my head this past month and a half while I’ve been waiting for it to arrive and such, but it is everything I thought it would be. I can’t wait to do the logging and get it fine tuned! Speaking of, I need someone to help me learn how to data log. Is it in the pcmflash software? And where do I go to record? One more thing, because I love you guys, is there a thread for OVtune tips/tricks/what to expect/how to utilize it/just random “good-to-know” tidbits? Thank you all for being in this community!:bananadance:
