Damn, I just scanned through about 140 pages to catch up. I won't be doing that again lol.
Count me in as a maybe for Saturday. I'm helping the wife with a event she has for work that day, I just need to find out what time it is.

Anybody want a 20' tree saver/tow strap? I already have a dedicated tree saver and I got this thinking it was significantly different -- which it is not. It's rated to 10k lbs. $20. I can bring it to C&C if anyone is interested.

What is the difference between a tree saver and a tow strap? I have a big ass tow strap, but no tree saver

See that's the thing... I'm not sure there is a difference. I thought there was. I got it thinking it was a dedicated tow strap. But the packaging on it says "tree saver tow strap." A "recovery" strap/rope is different in that they have some stretch to them, e.g. Bubba Rope. I figure now I can just use my tree saver for any static pulls that I can't use my winch on, and eventually I'll get a recovery rope. If you want to just stick with the strap you have that's cool

Edit: one difference might be the width of the strap. They're generally thicker to protect the tree: 3". Both my straps are 3"

I have an ARB strap that has a 20% stretch.. so if that one doesnt have any stretch to it, ill pick it up from you.. for when i may need to winch off of a tree or something

All yours then. This should be completely static - no stretch
