It seems like half the people on the Tacoma Facebook page are telling me it’s OK to remove my swaybar. I haven’t seen much on here about this, any opinions from direct experience ?

Mine has been off a few years but I'm not on a stock suspension either. There's quite a bit on here but it's all on second gen. I don't hang out in the 3rd gen forum so I'm not sure if any of them have removed theirs.

I wouldn't recommend it on a stock suspension. If you're lifted and on stiffer springs then give it a try just take it slow at first and see how it handles. For me the truck handled much better.

I’m on Fox 2.5’s with swaybar removed. I do experience a little more body roll especially at higher speed, nothing too alarming though. I feel like stiffer aftermarket springs balance things out.

King 2.5" 600lb Spring, there's definitely a bit more body roll but nothing extremely concerning as the suspension I have now seems to be stiffer than OEM, probably have preload and Dakar Leaf Springs to thank for that.
