Hey guys, I got a flat tire a few days ago. I have to say, the fix was easier than I thought.
I've changed flats before, but never on a truck. I was familiar with the process, but I've never lowered a mounted-below-the-bed-spare. I needed a flashlight to line up the screw-like mechanism that lowers the tire, but other than that, everything was cake.

Did you plug or patch the tire?

    I'm not sure...
I took it to a shop and bs'd with the guy about snow tires while he fixed the flat.
    I'm a bad truck owner :(

I know what you mean. It happened to me a couple months ago with some snow coming down. I felt it was way quicker than changing a tire on my old Corolla.
