Whats up TW. I just got in my set of faux pro headlights/tailights from www.uniquestyleracings.com on sale. Since ive come across a few recent threads of people asking about them I thought I’d post it up.

I wanted the blacked out background after seeing it in person and found this as a great option.

The headlights and tailamps I purchased are manufactered by depo and sold through the above website. From what I have read in articles and user feedback is Depo is a great aftermarket brand.

So these headlights are marketed for SR5’s who want the LED strip. They come with a plug n play module so sr5 owners get those cool lights. I got it for my offroad for the black housing. The info says they are sr5 but they work for all Tacomas. All i had to do was take the three factory DRL wires and attach them to the three aftermarket drl wires. Took about 5 min per light to do. (Attached pic of wires).

The tailamps are completely plug and play. Overall I’m very happy with them and its made a huge difference in my trucks look even with the small difference of the black housings.

Not sure how long their sale is good for but I used offercode mtntaco and the set comes out to just over 500$ which I beleave is a fair deal considering oem pros from what Ive seen are 1k plus.

How’s the headlight output compared to OEM?

Contemplating a set of the headlights. I like the actual Pro's over the BHLM...I wonder if my RX350 projectors would be a direct swap.

The housing looks exactly the same as oem if that makes a difference? Not familiar with the rx350

One would ASSUME that the projectors would also be the same as OEM, but I'd hate to spend $450 to find out they aren't compatible.

I would put silicone around the lamps to avoid any condensation in the lights. A lot of people have ran into this problem on other makes and models. I used it on my other car and they have held up with no problems

The headlight box was huge. The headlights themselves feel same as stock

Ellaborate a little further where to apply the silicone? Around where bulb inserts into pocket? Each lamp has a gasket but ur saying to add over that or around the shells seems?

Just so I understand, they're selling a pair of these Depo headlights for $435, whereas a pair of OEM Pro headlights costs over $2,000? If that's the case this is a amazing bargain.
