    I've talked about putting this meat together for about a year now and since my psychiatrist told me to start 'realizing my dreams'- HERE IT IS! This trip is not exclusively limited to Cinci people. If you want in, get in! Started planning this a year out so people have plenty of time to sort out the vacation situation.

    What is it?
    A multi-week adventure across the country, featuring stops at exciting locales such as Rocky Mountain National Park, and all those places in southwest Colorado and Utah where you see Tacomas doing Tacoma things on the gram!

    Where is it?
    :oldglory::oldglory::oldglory::oldglory::oldglory:

    When is it?
    July 6th to July 20th. Tentative itinerary as follows:

    6th- Drive Cinci to KC
    7th- Drive KC to Denver
    8th- Screw around in RMNP/Denver/Longmont areas
    9th- Drive to Moab
    10th-14th- Do Moab things in Moab
    15th- Drive to Telluride
    16th-17th- Imogene Pass, Alpine Loop, etc.
    18th-20th- Drive back.

    [IMG]

    What do I NEED to bring?
    * A truck
    * A sense of adventure
    * A CB that actually works- don't be that guy and show up with no way to communicate
    * Camping stuff
    * All that fancy recovery stuff
    * Money for tolls, camping, groceries, eating out, gas, etc.

    Recommendations, But Not Requirements Because It's Your Truck and Who Am I To Tell You How To Live Your Life

    * Tires that don't suck
    * UHF/VHF capable radio with appropriate licensing for crystal clear comms and BS
    * Sliders and Skids
    * A Winch

    "Altitude adjustment day"? What are you, a bitch?
    Yes.

    I looked at canyonlands but they don't allow dogs, even in the truck. Three of us have dogs that tend to go where we go so that's kind of out.

    I'd love to be in. Reality is family is likely too young for me to bounce for that long. But I'll start working the wife over now

    Invite in-laws to crash at your place while you're gone and help with the kids, talk about how it's a once in a lifetime trip, etc.

    It's only 2 wks. MIGHT be bake to swing it. Especially since the wife doesn't work anymore. That makes it easier on her

    Hell with it. Put me in coach!

    I'll just take days off for wheeling trips rest of the year without pay
