    The story goes that he reverse engineered the king shocks but "improved" them. I'm with @MaverickTRD on the local small business aspect though too. Plus I'm told they have really great support. This is all second hand, cousin's brother's baby Mama's uncle's barber type of thing. Haven't heard anything bad though.

    Aside from the already mentioned,

    Local, Tucson with great support
    There arent different "series", everyone gets the best.

    Their shock finish seems to be the best, seems to resist the elements much better. I have so far not seen the same corrosion as with the Fox on my Tacoma.
    Need something special? They will get it taken care of. I used to be a Fox guy, that changed when shopping for my Tundra suspension. Fox was NOT willing to work with me for MY specific driving style/wheeling. ADS was happy to accommodate changes I needed, also worked with me on my rear shocks to try something new.
