In my 2017 Tacoma SR I have the stock touch screen radio. Has anyone experienced problems with it? My radio will automatically reboot while driving down the road. Also it will disconnect from my iPhone randomly and I have to go into the settings to connect it back. I took the truck in for it's routine maintenance about a month ago and mentioned to them what it was doing. They said it could just be the radio needing to be updated. So they updated it and it was working good, but this week it started to do the same thing again more frequently then before. I was wanting to know if any of you have had this problem. Also what do you think my chances would be in getting the dealership to upgrade my radio if I was to pay the difference?

It's a known issue, take it back in if you want it to be taken care of thru your warranty. There's a 100% chance a dealer will not upgrade you and pay the difference(unless you're a regular customer that has spent thousands upon thousands of dollars on unneeded recommended services, in that case they would probably help you out a bit).

If you're going out of pocket, get yourself an aftermarket radio.
