So several of y'all said "dealership"... Anderson? Easley? Greenville? You'd get suspension
and steering work done at the dealership? Are Action Automotive and Southern Automotive
good for that kind of heavy-duty chassis work?

I've always taken my Mini to one of South Carolina's two Mini dealers and been real happy
    with their work.

I guess Clemson's Four Wheel Drive center is mainly a Jeep shop?

Shit, it might be cheaper than having a shop do it. One way, though.

I work with computers now. Use to turn wrenches.

    Easy steps to follow.
Jack vehicle up place jack stands under frame.
Position jack under diff and have it barely touch diff
    Loosen and remove u-bolts
Loosen and remove front spring mount
loosen and remove hanger to mount bolt
    Pull springs out
remove hanger from spring (pay attention to orientation of bolts)
    Put hanger on new spring
Reverse for spring installation making sure the centering pin drops into the hole in the perch on the axle

Clemson four wheel is primarily Jeeps, but Fred will work on other stuff too.. as long as the green stuff ($$) keeps coming.

There's also Southeast Overland in Seneca, they have a full size shop and do all kinds of work on 4x4s.

That mean you're going to get out of the place you just bought and stop procrastinating and finally move to the right coast!

Pretty sure Southern would be. I need to call him about something and can ask then. He's done several other things for me. He's real honest and saved me a bunch of money.

If you're game, we can make it happen. My mom wouldn't mind me coming up to Greenville anyway.
