I just did this upgrade last weekend.... if OP wants to DIY I added a few little helpful tips at the end of the thread.

DIY is VERY easy. Just need a plastic pry tool and a phillips head electric driver.

tip1 - take off arm rest covers and unplug window and lock wires instead of trying to do it with the door panel in your 1 hand.. thank me later.

Tip2 - remove the trim covers on each door - behind rear view mirror on fronts - there's white tabs left in place on the door - pinch them together and remove from door and install on trim cover BEFORE trying to re-install the trim cover... thank me later.

takes about 10 minutes to upgrade each door.

Subbie tweeters install them LAST. Check sound after speaker upgrade before the tweeter upgrade. Then try 1 Subbie tweet...

The Subbie tweeters don't have a high pass filter like the stock tweeters do so you get full range from that tweeter and it's in your face so I have the balance almost all the way to the back speakers... I'll figure a way to add a high pass for the Subbie tweets. Basically an addition of a capacitor is all thats needed. OR tweak the stock high pass and swap the capacitor for another one that lets more sound thru.

Stock tweets I think are set up to pass anything above 14Khz ... most of us over 25 can't hear that well anyway and why we all think the stock tweets suck... we cant hear em.

I recommend buying a 5 channel amp that has the option of retaining the stock headunit. Pioneer has one
