Up to you frankly. I like the look and they drive well. I also have wranglers if you wanted to do the swap.

 

I have those exact same tires on my truck, which is my DD. They are some of the quietest AT tires on the road, and they last forever. Totally good for a DD.

 

With all of the cap talk, I'll just drop this here... Why would anyone put a dog house on a pick up? If you really need to keep your crap dry, buy a minivan!

Hating on shells is weird. You can take them off to load things above cab height if necessary. The rest of the time they’re enhancing the look and versatility of a taco. 90% of the posts in this thread are about shells for a reason...

 

Thanks - that's helpful to someone who knows nothing about tires.

 

It’s not like it’s permanent, I can have it off in about 10-15 mins. Dry storage and security for tools was my primary reason for getting one, plus I honestly like the look on a lifted truck.
