Yeah it's wild how that can happen. I know of at least one person on here who has broken a thumb or two while wheeling.

@fatfurious2 I'm starting the Hoonigan Miata Kart build! I'm excited and already want to build something.

Edit: I already lost interest. Too much talking and not enough building.

Just skip forward! The fab work is fun! And the music is good. And yes I looked on Craigslist for a $200 miata

Dude. That’s not called soccer just yet.

    It’s called Swarm Ball.

When they’re about 7 years old is when it starts to resemble soccer.

    Too many to list.
So now that I don't have to travel through a deer mine for work I'm rethinking my steel bumper idea and thinking more about new wheels.

I really like the TRD sema style wheels or Mickey Thompson ones. If you boys and gals see a nice deal let me know :)

I really like the TRD SEMA style wheels as well. It's like OEM but better!

    Meat for dinner today.
Yes that's 3 racks. One each for each daughter and the wife and get to split one.

@Subway4X4 how did you like that front hitch mounted winch?

I liked it a lot. I used it several times at Rausch Creek. I used it up front AND rear mounted, which is one of its best uses.
    3BF41BB9-3531-4858-8C67-D39F793932B2.jpg

    Pros:
Portability, can be stored in garage or in bed, able to use front and rear.

    Cons:
Portablility (Heavy and PITA to move), takes up space in garage or bed.

Retired it once I got my plate steel bumpers.

Being able to mount it on the front and rear is what's appealing to me. Just looking for a winch option without having to get steel bumpers because I don't do any heavy off roading and like the stock look.

Currently looking into the @Mobtown Offroad recovery bar so I can get shackles as well as winch capability.

Joe Mobster’s recovery bar is what I had. Easy install. Beefy as hell.

Used the Warn 26370 Multi Mount Winch Carrier Kit.

SmittyBilt X-20 12k synthetic was mounted in the carrier. Make sure you get synthetic if you’re going portable because a winch + steel cable is HEAVY and a bitch to lift and try to insert the mount into the receiver hitch.

When I retired the portable cradle, I retained the 2 gauge wiring front and rear. Front connects to my winch. Rear supplies ARB fridge and ARB twin. All connected by Anderson connectors, which I can disconnect and reconnect a heavy gauge jumper cable

I'm a big fan of the low profile bumpers. There are a few companies, but my favorite is SSO

:notsure: Looks the same to me, minus the small gap above the winch.
